Securing your place

Enrollment and payment

Enrollment is confirmed only after the required payment has been successfully received. Adding a course to your cart, requesting an invoice, submitting an application, or sending an inquiry does not reserve a place.

Full payment

Programs requiring full payment must be paid in full before access, onboarding materials, class links, or course resources are released.

Payment plans

When a payment plan is offered, each installment must be paid by the stated due date. Course access may be paused or removed when a payment becomes overdue. Missed payments do not cancel the remaining balance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Pricing and promotions

Pricing, bonuses, promotional offers, class availability, and enrollment deadlines may change. A price is only secured when checkout is completed or an invoice is paid before expiration.

03

Final-sale terms

Refunds and cancellations

Due to the immediate access, reserved class space, downloadable materials, curriculum preparation, and educational nature of The Graphic District offerings, course enrollments and digital products are final sale unless a different refund term is specifically stated on the product page or written agreement.

Change of mind or schedule conflict

Refunds are not provided because a student changes their mind, becomes unavailable, does not attend, falls behind, experiences a personal scheduling conflict, or decides the course is no longer a priority.

Duplicate purchases

Contact The Graphic District promptly if the same item was purchased more than once by mistake. Duplicate-payment requests will be reviewed individually.

Course cancellation by The Graphic District

If The Graphic District permanently cancels a paid program before instruction or access begins and no replacement date, replay, or comparable alternative is provided, affected students will receive an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.

04

Portal and materials

Course access

Course access begins and ends according to the dates, duration, or access period listed on the sales page, onboarding materials, student portal, or written enrollment agreement.

Login information

Students are responsible for using a valid email address, keeping login information secure, and notifying The Graphic District if they experience an access issue.

Personal access only

Enrollment provides access to one purchaser unless a group, business, or team license is specifically purchased. Login credentials may not be shared with another person.

Downloading materials

Students are responsible for downloading permitted resources before access expires. The Graphic District is not required to provide indefinite access or maintain permanent copies for every student.

05

Attendance and recordings

Live classes and replays

Students should attend live sessions at the scheduled time and join using the approved class link or platform. Class links are for enrolled students only and may not be forwarded.

Replays

Replays may be provided when stated as part of the program. Recording availability, upload timing, and access duration may vary because of processing, technical limitations, platform restrictions, or an unsuccessful recording.

Missed classes

A missed class does not qualify for a refund, private replacement session, or schedule change. Students should use the replay or available course materials when provided.

Student participation in recordings

Live classes may be recorded. A student's name, voice, chat message, screen share, or voluntary participation may appear in a replay. Students who do not wish to appear should keep their camera off, avoid screen sharing, and limit identifying information in the chat.

06

Dates and availability

Scheduling and rescheduling

Class dates, lesson order, office hours, guest sessions, and program timelines may be adjusted when necessary. Students will receive reasonable notice when a meaningful schedule change is made.

Instructor emergencies and technical issues

Sessions may be rescheduled because of illness, emergencies, internet outages, platform failures, weather, or circumstances outside reasonable control. A replacement date, replay, alternate lesson, or comparable solution may be provided.

One-on-one sessions

Private sessions require advance notice to reschedule. Late arrivals may shorten the session, and missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be forfeited unless otherwise approved.

07

Your role in the process

Student responsibilities

Students are responsible for reviewing course announcements, completing onboarding steps, checking email and portal updates, attending sessions, practicing the lessons, and asking questions when clarification is needed.

Course readiness

Students should review the stated skill level before enrolling. Beginner and advanced programs are designed for different levels of experience, and enrollment does not include unlimited remedial instruction outside the listed curriculum.

Original work

Assignments and portfolio submissions should reflect the student's own effort. References, stock assets, templates, AI tools, and outside materials must be used responsibly and according to their applicable licenses.

Professional responsibility

Students remain responsible for proofreading their work, researching applicable licenses, backing up files, and making final decisions about work created for clients or commercial use.

08

Learning support

Assignments, critiques, and feedback

Feedback is educational and intended to help students improve design decisions, technical execution, presentation, and creative strategy. Feedback is not a guarantee that a project, portfolio, or business will receive a particular response from clients, employers, or the public.

Submission deadlines

Assignments submitted after a stated deadline may receive delayed, limited, or no individual feedback depending on the program schedule and instructor availability.

Revision support

Unless specifically included, course enrollment does not provide unlimited personal revisions, private art direction, client work completion, or done-for-you design services.

Critique conduct

Students should receive and provide feedback respectfully. Disagreement with a critique is allowed, but harassment, retaliation, or disruptive conduct is not.

09

Protecting the community

Community conduct

The Graphic District is intended to be a respectful learning environment. Students may not harass, threaten, discriminate against, shame, impersonate, exploit, or intentionally disrupt another student, instructor, guest, or team member.

Private information

Student contact information, personal stories, work-in-progress materials, client information, and community conversations may not be copied, posted publicly, or used for unsolicited marketing without permission.

Self-promotion and solicitation

Unapproved selling, mass messaging, recruitment, spam, and solicitation inside course or community spaces are prohibited.

Community access is a privilege.

Serious or repeated conduct violations may result in removal from live sessions, community spaces, or course access without refund.

10

Software and equipment

Technology requirements

Students are responsible for having a compatible device, dependable internet connection, supported software, sufficient storage, and any required subscriptions listed for the course.

Third-party software

Adobe, Canva, Affinity, Zoom, Shopify, AI platforms, font providers, stock libraries, and other third-party tools are operated independently. Their pricing, features, policies, and availability may change without notice.

Technical support

Reasonable guidance may be provided for course-related access, but enrollment does not include comprehensive device repair, software troubleshooting, account recovery, coding support, or technical support for unrelated platforms.

11

Downloads and instant access

Digital products and free resources

Templates, guides, workbooks, checklists, shortcut sheets, resource lists, recorded lessons, and other digital materials are provided in the format described on the product page.

Final sale

Paid digital products are final sale because access or delivery may occur immediately. Customers should review software, compatibility, and skill requirements before purchasing.

Free downloads

Free resources may still be subject to license, attribution, access, email-delivery, and usage conditions. “Free” does not mean public domain, unrestricted redistribution, or permission to resell the material.

Updates

A purchase does not automatically include every future update, replacement file, expanded edition, or newly created resource unless stated otherwise.

12

Personal-use access

License and prohibited sharing

Unless a different license is provided, The Graphic District courses and resources are licensed to the purchaser for personal learning and permitted business use. Ownership is not transferred by purchase.

  • Do not share course logins, class links, or portal access.
  • Do not upload files to shared drives, groups, or membership libraries.
  • Do not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or gift digital resources.
  • Do not record, copy, transcribe, or repost paid lessons.
  • Do not rebrand course materials as your own educational product.
  • Do not use the curriculum to create a substantially copied competing course.

Students may apply what they learn to their own original design work, client services, portfolio, and business. They may not copy and commercially redistribute The Graphic District's teaching materials, written lessons, templates, recordings, or curriculum.

13

No guaranteed outcome

Educational and results disclaimer

The Graphic District provides education, creative guidance, and learning resources. Results depend on the student's experience, effort, consistency, decision-making, market, portfolio, pricing, communication, and implementation.

Enrollment does not guarantee employment, clients, revenue, followers, business growth, certification, software mastery, portfolio acceptance, or any specific professional result.

Business and professional decisions

Course content is general educational information and should not be treated as individualized legal, tax, accounting, financial, employment, or licensing advice.

14

Creative ownership

Intellectual property

The Graphic District retains ownership of its curriculum, recordings, lesson structure, written content, assessments, worksheets, templates, branding, graphics, demonstrations, presentations, methods, and original educational materials.

Student work

Students retain rights to their original work, subject to any third-party assets, templates, fonts, stock materials, software terms, client agreements, or licenses used to create it.

Student examples and testimonials

Student work, feedback, or testimonials will not be presented as an endorsement without permission where permission is required. Publicly shared class work may be referenced for educational or community celebration purposes with reasonable credit.

15

Protecting the program

Suspension or termination of access

Access may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, chargeback abuse, credential sharing, unauthorized distribution, harassment, unlawful activity, piracy, repeated disruption, or other serious policy violations.

Investigation and resolution

The Graphic District may request information, temporarily limit access, remove community privileges, or take reasonable action while reviewing a suspected violation.

No refund after removal for cause

A student removed for a serious or repeated policy violation is not entitled to a refund for used access, reserved instruction, downloaded materials, or completed program services.

16

Final acknowledgment

Agreement

By completing checkout, submitting payment, accessing a product, downloading a resource, entering a student portal, or attending a class, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.

Policies may be updated as programs, technology, platforms, and business operations change. The terms presented at the time of purchase apply to the related transaction unless a different written agreement is provided.
